This attractive town in the foothills of the Odenwald just above Heidelberg serves up a richly filled programme featuring a parade, music, a show and a disco. And, of course, there will be plenty of football played on the pitches. The location is ideal too. The tournament is being held in a new complex with modern facilities and the participants are being accommodated close to the sports pitches. And if we tell you that the charming centre and the surrounding vineyards attract numerous visitors each year, you will know that Bensheim is a good place to be for the Easter weekend. Five fantastic pitches, a real stadium, two beach volleyball/foot volleyball pitches, two sports halls and a fitness centre. Participants in the Bayer Uerdingen Pokal feel like professionals. And that’s how the club likes it. The sporting experience is everything for the organisers. They have put together an extensive programme of sport and festivities. Football comes first, fun is a close second. SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen has 6,000 members, spread over 17 different sports - football being perhaps the most important. The 05 in the club name stands for the year the SC was set up, but also for the 5-star accommodation. This promises to be a great Ascension weekend. Kempten e.V, SV Lenzfried, TSV Kottern-,SV Heiligkreuz and SV ‘29 Kempten Teams: 64 Participants ’12-’13: Sparkle at the foot of the Alps The historic city of Kempten is located in the south of Germany, in the foothills of the Alps. The Cambodunum Cup was an immediate hit from its inception in 2002 - participants were unanimous in their opinion that it was a magnificent tournament, with its international atmosphere and beautiful, historic backdrop. The opening ceremony on Friday is a parade from the historic city centre to the Iller Stadium, which can easily hold 11,000 people. On Saturday, there is a party in the Big Box, one of the biggest party venues in Germany. Because of the international atmosphere and historic setting, this tournament suits everyone.
